Helping Hands
Building dignity on the streets of Manaus, phase by phase.
Helping Hands started simple: hot meals for people living on the streets of Manaus. It's a project under construction — we'd rather tell you exactly which phase we're in than promise a full-scale outreach program we don't have the structure to sustain yet.
Hot Meals
Phase 1 — today
We deliver hot meals to people living on the streets of Manaus. No large structure yet — just real food, consistently, for those who need it most.
Wider Reach
Phase 2
A dedicated vehicle for logistics and a larger fixed team — more meals, more locations across Manaus, more consistency.
Full Outreach Program
Phase 3 — goal
The full original plan: haircuts, hygiene kits, clothing, and conversation circles, across Manaus's overpasses, sidewalks, terminals, and riverside districts. Medium-term goal: 500–720 people reached per month.
- Monthly outreach events
- Fixed volunteers (barbers, cooks, therapists)
- Partnerships with local shops and NGOs
- Documentation and public accounting for every action
Help Helping Hands move to the next phase.
Every real helps us leave Phase 1 faster — without promising what we can't deliver yet.
